2011 activities in Birmingham

The Drop In received a kind and generous donation from a local church, Christian Faith Church, of warm winter clothes (to see people through the cold January and February), bedding and toiletries.  The donation was very happily received at the Drop In and there was ‘nothing left behind’.  Many thanks to the Christian Faith Church!!

The sewing group is meeting every other Monday and are having great success with their Zimbabwean inspired clothes for children and adults.  For more details, give the office a call.

Beautiful Baby’s Dress

Birmingham Drop In have been very busy making wonderful handmade children’s clothes.

This is a beautifully made baby’s dress with crochet round the hemline and pockets. The material is cotton with a look of linen.

With the arrival of a donated sewing machine, expect much more from this brilliant and talented group in 2011!
